Biography
Takako Arai, MD, was born in Sapporo, and graduated from School of Medicine, Nihon University, Tokyo. She worked at Tokyo Medical/Dental University Hospital, before securing an overseas post in 2000 with MSF/Doctors Without Borders; Sri Lanka Mission, FCO/Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Urgent Reconstruction Project for Afghanistan, IVY for East Timor project.
